Summary:

Maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishes, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen operating equipment.

Requirements:

• Ensure the kitchen is clean, maintained and organized at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish station and dish machine.
• Empty trash receptacles transport trash to the disposal area.
• Clean kitchen various kitchen equipment.
• Sweep & mop kitchen floors and clean mats.
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
• Works well under pressure and the ability to multi-task.
• Follow all safety procedures for always operating and cleaning all machinery.
• Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.
• Adheres to state and local health and safety
• Wash rubber floor mats on as-needed basis.
• Must be able to wash dishes, pots, overnight porter and gather equipment.
• Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required or apparent.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to lift and transport large quantity of dishes, silverware, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment for short distances and store appropriately.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs.; stand up to 7a long duration; perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Ability to learn basic cleaning and sanitation methods.
• Ability to follow verbal instruction.
• Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers, in a team environment, with a minimum of supervision.
• Interested in the food service industry.
• High-energy, outgoing personality with strong professional interpersonal skills.
• Diplomatic team player, able to foster relationships with team members.

Schedule:

• Saturday and Sunday - 12pm to 7:30pm or 7:30pm to 3am
• Weekday shifts if needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.62 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 21 per week
